FAQ
Frequently asked questions
I lost my internet connection. Does Termik stop working?
No. It works normally for up to 14 days offline. Just connect once within that period to renew.
I got a new computer. What now?
Enter the same key on the new computer and confirm the transfer with the code sent to your e-mail. The old one is deactivated automatically, even if you no longer have it. You get up to 5 transfers every 30 days.
Can I use it on my laptop and my desktop?
Each seat is for one computer. To use both at the same time, you need two seats.
Can you see my passwords or my servers?
No. That information never leaves your computer and is encrypted with your master password, which we don't know.
I canceled my subscription. Do I lose my data?
No. Your data stays on your computer. After the subscription ends, the app enters restricted mode and you can still open the vault, view, copy and export everything.
I forgot my master password. Does the activation key help?
No. The key unlocks the app; the master password opens your data. The master password can't be recovered, because it isn't stored anywhere.
I uninstalled and reinstalled. Do I get another free trial?
No. The free trial is recorded for the computer: after reinstalling, it comes back with the days you had left.
